Bristol RV Horizons
We are not the only RVers who have had funny and unique experiences on the road. What is funny to some people is not funny to others. What is unique to some, is not unique to others. We hope our experiences are of interest to you and make you laugh. Those incidents that were not funny yet helped bring us together may help you.
We believe love of each other and love of being on the road is a strong bond for many RVing couples. If nothing else, you sure become best friends, enjoy each other's company and share in everything. Sometimes love evolves from that or even gets stronger.
RVing is the answer to the last frontier of independence and is a matter of choice. It will lead you to places you would have never known and enjoyment you would never have experienced. Try it, you may like it.
Tom Jefferson, my boss, was so impressed with the success of our book, The Bristol Expedition, he extended our time on the road in the motor home and asked us to write another book about our adventures. We accepted gladly and headed for Las Vegas, Nevada.
A few miles out of Barstow, California we came upon a car that had run off the Interstate 15 highway. We moved the passenger out of his car to our air conditioned motor home because of the summer desert heat. He was banged up a bit but was very anxious to get to Las Vegas. He implored us to take him to Las Vegas and he would pay us well. We told him he was in no shape to travel and that we would call an ambulance. He struggled feebly and then passed out. We administered first aid and called 911. An ambulance and two California State Patrol cars arrived at the scene. The officers questioned us, took some information and thanked us for our action. The EMTs put the man in the ambulance. We continued on our way to Las Vegas with an uneasy feeling of dread. Little did we know of the web of mystery and intrigue that would engulf us. The second book of the Bristol Adventures begins and we are right in the middle of it. Come along and see what happens.
We are in Las Vegas now and will be staying at an RV resort just a few miles from the Las Vegas welcome sign on Las Vegas Boulevard.
If you have never been to Las Vegas or you haven't been here for awhile, perhaps you will enjoy seeing some of it. See you soon.
